Weird and Exciting times

I went paragliding a few weeks ago and loved it! 10 Days for free in Bavaria infact I got paid for it. I've applied to go again in October and I've already been accepted onto the course! I can't believe it 'cos work have said yes again! moreover I was asked by Jim at work if I wanted to go for a week in Iceland, Rallying. Well I jumped at the chance and it looks like I'll be leaving this Sunday. It's just bizzarre, Lisa says it's OK and work say it's OK and it just about fits my calender even if it is a bit of a squeeze. I'm at work on Saturday until Sunday Morning 08:30 and I leave Sunday afternoon aroun 17:30.
I should let Lisa go and do something that she likes. When I get back from Iceland I'll take her out and buy her something nice.

The Sultans Elephant 3

The Sultans Elephant 3, originally uploaded by mc_dudley.

I went to London yesterday because I had heard that there was a 40 ton Elephant going to be in Leicester Square. Sure enough when I got there, I was confronted by the biggest Elephant I ever saw!
I was particularly impressed by the shear size of it and also the attention to detail that had gone into the Animatronic mechanical engineering. The huge 40 ton beast walked along in front of it's support truck as if it had just arrived from Africa, sqirting water over the crowds as in went.
As you can probably tell, I was thoroughly impressed!

Twins are great

I've been watching over the Twins (William & Alexandra) today as Lisa has gone to the Gym to flatten her tummy or something. The're always so good I rarley have any trouble. When I do have trouble it's usually disaterous but today was quite funny. The twins were playing in the garden and I popped inside to make sandwiches for them. They were very quiet I thought and wondered what they were doing (as this is usually the sign that they are upto no good). By the time I came back with the sandwiches they were digging in the mud of my herb patch and William thought it was great fun to sprinkle the dirt over Alex's head. When I said"look at that filth!" Alex looked at me with dirt rolling down her face and back as if to say "Filth! what Filth?" and just carried on digging.
